What We've Done

Daniel Hernandez graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez hold a special acclaim for the University, prompting them to give back to the place that gave them so much. As a proud Aggie, Mr. Hernandez continued the Former Student tradition of funding the Aggie Ring scholarship, enabling students to take part in the tradition of Ring Day.

As advocates for Early Childhood Education, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez support the Read by 3rd Volunteer Driven Program. Read by 3rd helps parents by giving them the skill sets and resources necessary to develop an understanding of what it is they can do to help their children. Read by 3rd works to help children “Learn to Read” at grade level by the third grade so that each child can “Read to Learn” for the rest of their life.

We are committed to promoting excellence and giving back to the community. Through our future work, we plan to give opportunities to the next generation of leaders in Texas. The Daniel and Bridget Hernandez Education Foundation exists to address critical needs and create pathways to opportunity for underserved families.
